TWDA enters festivals throughout the year at various different venues in the area. Pupils have won thousands of medals and trophies including titles such as:
'Best Choreography Award'
' Most Promising Dancer'
'Best Personality'
'Best Costume'
' Most Entertaining Routine'
and of course 'Teachers Trophy', which is based on a point system, every time a medal is won the teacher is allocated points.
We came away with two thirds and a second, a truly magical day.
TWDA entered Dance 2006, at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham and won Senior Champions, Juvenile Champions and came third in the junior section and also best costume award. We were then asked to enter the Champion of Champions in Blackpool, competing against from all over the country.
